Nechama Minyon
Welcome,
The Nechamah Minyon meets nightly at 9pm eastern, 6 pm pacific, except Friday. I started it in January 2021 to say kaddish for my mother Natalie Robinson, (Nechama Leah bat Elke v'Chayim). Since then it has become much more. At this point, the Nechamah minyon is not only meaning something to me personally, but also serving a wider cause that is beyond time and space. It is serving to connect people across denominational lines; people whom need a place to pray; to grieve; to heal; to experiment with different forms and modalities of prayer; and to be a container for the end of the day. It has helped us relax into the night and to soothe sleepless souls, to connect people who haven’t seen each other in a long time and make new friends.
It is different every night -depending on who is leading - so come a few times to get an array of musical, liturgical, meditative, poetic styles before you judge the whole experience…and just jump in - or out - when you want:)

It’s been such a huge support to me after my father left this world on Jan 7, 2021. Heimisch, supportive, accepting, inspiring. And I have brought many friends to the Nechama Minyan this year. And it’s been wonderful sharing it with my sisters and my step mother

I love the Nechama Minyan—I came in April of 21 to say kaddish for my mother, stayed for prayers of healing for my daughter going through cancer treatment, and am still there now saying kaddish for my stepdad. Such beautiful loving souls.

I joined to honor my husband of 57 years, and then learned how to lead a meeting. I feel so good when I attend the Minyon each evening.

I love being with the Nechama Minyan almost every night. It is support of friends who were once new to me but now are part of my life. I also learned how to lead a service with lots of kindness and love from the group. Every night is a little different, many different folks come and there is beautiful singing. Then we have an "oneg" after! Come join us. We would love to meet you.
